Run by a guy who writes for the Wall Street Journal, this UK publisher contacted us about two books that we used to publish. I responded, and the publisher was surprised: "Thanks for getting back to me so speedily – I wasn't expecting that!"
Then he added, "..it would be good to see some other titles you have available."
British newspaper The Guardian wrote this about them: "When its founders tell you, not entirely joking, that they could be as big as Penguin, you almost believe them. Because this is a firm that - almost unheard of in this brave new digital world - knows how to make money from ebooks." Their books hit Amazon's top 50 Kindle list regularly. They also publish printed books, of course.
Shall we bring your work under those British eyes?
Activate for $39. Because these folks appreciate speed, we'll submit no more than two books on one page, for fast reading. Therefore your book will occupy a least a half page in our presentation. We will let this exciting, successful publisher know that a seamless transfer of rights is ensured.
