IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: We are handing over the publicity and promotion activities for your book to a new agency, Paperback Services. The new agency is affiliated with the nation's only around-the-clock radio station about books and writers, Paperback Radio. Your America Star Books Special Services team members will also make the move to Paperback Services. Paperback Services and Paperback Radio are independently owned by the same company that also owns America Star Books (ASB).
The change becomes effective in June, when your book gets to be promoted like never before in front of 20,000 librarians, at the American Library Association annual conference and exhibition in Chicago.
After Book Expo America, which ends June 2, ASB will no longer attend trade shows, but Paperback Radio will. The station will routinely air live from those events, from a promotion booth of its own. That's where your book will be promoted, starting in Chicago!
Why this is a big and unique step forward:
Paperback Radio attracts everyone's attention at trade shows, because there is no other station like it, and because it is such a positive station. Everything is cheerful and uplifting there, and so many people want to be interviewed. All the big publishers work with Paperback Radio. Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Simon and Schuster, Hachette: they all send their authors to Paperback Radio to be interviewed and promoted.
So here's your first opportunity to become part of book promotion of the future: Library Uplifts!
Activate for an introductory low $69, down from
$119. Paperback Radio will distribute, at the librarians conference in Chicago, in its studio booth, a catalog with uplifting books, stories with happy endings, a full page per title. Follow it live on the radio: they will discuss the catalog and its contents live, for a worldwide audience, in front of a crowd of librarians. I will be there also, in what's then my new capacity of Paperback Services' Events Manager, discussing your uplifting work with the much larger crowds that we expect to draw.
A traveling radio station promotes your book, starting with the American Library Association's big event in June. Be part of the first wave. Uplift the nation's libraries with your book!
